Mark Rowan aka Agent Rowan was a friend of Adam Carter and appears to be dating Judy Carter after she lost her husband. Austin Carter is suspicious of him. Rowan works for the Department of Internet Security.

Personality
Originally he was intent on spying on Austin Carter and his family, because of his suspicious of them using the guardian code. Upon realizing that they were using the guardian code, he refrained from telling the DIS. He then sided with the Guardians after the sourceror gained access to a nuclear weapon, aware of the damage that the hacker could do, and begged the guardians to help, as well as becoming on their side. He would then help out the guardians after realizing that they were a force for good, even going behind the back of the organizing he was working for.
